About The Saratoga Springs Arts Scene
There is always something happening in Saratoga Springs, a Victorian City where culture shines! Music and Theater flourish at Preservation Hall, Performing Arts at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), and Homemade Theatre. The new Art District on Beekman Street and the Film Forum are unique to our city. Museums including the National Museum of Dance, the Saratoga Auto Museum, The Children's Museum at Saratoga, the Saratoga Springs History Museum, the New York State Military Museum regularly schedule special exhibitions and present a variety of fun and educational programs for all ages. From the Art Center, to small galleries, to the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College, arts around the city feature work by both new and established artists. Historic Preservation and the Vistors Center bring the past to the present.
